I posted a couple of cards on SCS yesterday but never got around to sharing them here. First up is the card I made for the
QFTD74 to honor snowmanqueen/Carolyn. I used this SU! Bloomin Beautiful image, colored it with Copics and added some embossing done with a Sizzix ef, and a punched black panel done with en EK punch. The sentiment was done on a Spellbinders Fancy tag, but the ends got torn trying to remove it from the die, so I just trimmed it into an oval. The ribbon is by Offrey.
This is a sympathy card I made and posted for the
F4A78 challenge to make embossing the focal point of the card. I used this SU! ef and adorned it with some punched flowers done with a Carl sakura punch. I added some Kaiser blush pearls and the sentiment is from MSE done with CTMH grey wool ink. Very easy to do but it has quite an appeal IMHO.
I hope you're having a great weekend, and I'll be back soon with more :)

Wow... so beautiful cards. Thanks for the inspiration. I like to case, too.
my jaw is on the floor in amazement...these are totally gorgeous, esp. that white on white beauty
I really hope you know me well enough by now Carol...because I am fixing to say something I only say to my "real" friends..."Shut up I hate you"!!! Why didn't I think of this? Your work is going to be CASE'd, because I just plain LOVE it! Thank you for sharing and I hope you enjoy your weekend!!
Carol, these cards are fabulous, both of them. You never cease to amaze me. I love the Blooming Beautiful set and that stamp specifically. Great coloring as usual. It goes so nice with the pink, black and your ribbon. I love the diamond embossing. Great job. I am a sucker for white on white so I have to say that, today, that is my favorite card, probably of all time. What a stunning card. Having to receive a sympathy card is the worse, darkest feeling in the world, but if someone received this card, it would add a quite bit of light to their days. I know I can't do this card justice, but I am certainly going to try. So if you see something like it on my blog, just remember is CASing is the highest form of a compliment. Thanks so much for sharing you wonderful talents with everyone.
Both cards are absolute gorgeousness! Is that even a ord? LOL I cant pick one that I like more! Great job on both, Carol! :)

It’s now 7 years later, and it’s still beautiful! I’ll have to check EBay for that embossing folder, it’s so beautiful!
