Stars & Stamps MWT - DOGS!

The challenge over at the Stars & Stamps midweek throwdown is to make a card with a K-9 theme! Sandy (the president of OWH) has a couple free digis today, so check it out and make a card with a dog theme for OWH. Kids love dogs, so I'll have to print out several of Sandy's cute images and make cards for kids for my next OWH box.
Sandy also offered this free digi (along with the sentiment) a while ago, along with the sentiment. I've had this card in a file for a while now, and never posted it, but it's perfect for today's challenge. I colored the image with markers, and rounded off 2 corners I just used some scraps of red, white & blue and embossed the background with a Tim Holtz texture fades damask ef. Ribbon is from SU!

    Carol, that is lovely. I am going to have to try that opposite corner roundy thing. I just adds a different feel to a card I like.

    Carol, This one is adorable. I love that you colored him blue. The ribbon gives it a nice finishing touch. I never even got to cards yesterday. Too busy eating. LOL I went to lunch with a past co-worker and we stayed for 3 1/2 hours. Talking about cards, coloring, etc. I am going to send you an email today to share something with you. Hugs XOXO

    Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Yes, MA'AM! HE's a cutie! {My kids are ALWAYS trying to get our little dog to "say" I love you! He sings along to "Row Row, Row Your Boat", but not real "I love you" just yet!} The sentiment and adorable pup are PERFECT! I love the bold colored accents - just perfect! Woof you, too!
