Here's That Mouse Again!

Cocoa Mouse is back again and this time he's with his baseball cap. I did this one in red, white, and blue, making a herringbone background with strips of cardstock, then embossed it with a large dots ef. The image was colored with Copics, and I printed out a tiny Phillies Logo and added that to the hat, then cut the image panel with a Nestabilities Labels 2 die, drawing around the inside edge with a light blue marker before removing the die.

I cut a MFT tiny tag to hold the charm, adding twine and a blue star brad to anchor the charm into place.

Back in 1980, there was a quote we Phillies fans used every time Tug McGraw took the mound to close a game in the world series and it was "You Gotta Believe" which is what this card is all about. Those memories are etched in my mind forever.

I'm entering this over at the Cute Card Thursday #542 which is to add a charm.

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a great weekend!

Carol

I was wondering how you got the little Phillies logo! The charm is really sweet and would be great for all kinds of sports cards. Great background!

Oh Carol, another super card for sports! I love Cocoa and love his baseball hat! And of course I love the red/white and blue theme. That always grabs my attention. That tag is really cute with the charm hanging on it. I have this shape die mat and rarely use them. I need to get them filed in with my other's so I use them more often! Hugs, Brenda
