Smooth Sailing

Today I have a quick and easy masculine birthday card with a nautical theme. I started with a kraft card base, and stamped a Kaisercraft fishnet with Versamark on the side, then added a panel of Pacific Point cardstock that was embossed with a Darice nautical ef. I took a snippet of powder blue card and embossed it with a SU! seaside ef to look like water, and then die-cut the I.O. sailboat and colored it with Copics. The MFT fishtail flag banner was cut from white and chocolate cardstocks, then the SNSS sentiment was heat-embossed with white ep for the finishing touch.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

 Cardz4Guyz #198 - Blue and Brown

Double D challenge - Nautical theme

My Favorite Things MFTWSC #392 - use their sketch

Repeat Impressions DCC74 - the great outdoors

the Crop Stop July link party #41 - anything goes using company products sold        in their store

Thanks for the visit - I wish you a happy Friday and hope you all have a wonderful weekend as well!

Carol

Pretty card! I love that tiny sailboat and all that wonderful blue with the Kraft. Nice touch with the subtle stamping on the side in the fishnet.

I really love this design! Carol, again, you always make the best cards! Love how you stamped on the cardbase then embossed the one panel with the Seaside EF! So much texture and the added sailboat just took this up a notch! Just so awesome! TFS and today our heatwave ends!!! It's about time! :)
