Santa's Chillin' at the Beach!

This is not your typical beach scene, but what the heck?! LOL I found this old stamped Santa image in my box of stamped images and I THINK it's by High Hopes, but I'm not sure. If anyone knows, feel free to leave a comment and I'll correct it. I've had it for years! I colored it with Copics. and matted with a snippet of blue cardstock. I added some glossy accents to his sunglasses and some frosty stickles to the fur on his hat. I added a piece of striped dsp across the bottom along with a beach border done with an EK punch, coloring the elements with fluorescent Copics. The sentiment is by SU! and I added some red & white twine for the final touchm placing it on a snippet of watery looking cardstock I've had for eons.

I'm sharing this with the following challenges:

Jingle Belles "All Bundled Up" challenge - use 3 layers or more /Christmas

Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge #393 - Christmas/anything goes with an                                                option to use twine

Have a great Friday and stay cool! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Carol

Cute card. Since we both made "beach" cards this week...It must mean we're hoping to get to the beach? With me, It's been 11 years since I've been to a beach...

A really cute Santa image, but I have no idea who made it. Sure makes a great card design.

Cute Santa, and I love the sand castle detail. Now THIS is a card for a Florida resident, if ever I saw one. Santa looks very like a beach bum! TFS
