Merry July!

It's going to be a sweltering day here in PA, so I have another Christmas card to help cool us all off. I used up some favorite snippets of retired DSP from SU! and die-cut them with GMD stitched squares. I die-cut the tree with SU!'s perfect pines framelits from the red and green pieces, and inlaid the tree into the red. Next I added a mirror gold punched star done with a retired SU! mini punch. To dress up the tree, I added gold stickles in a criss-cross pattern. The word Merry was done with mirror gold card and a Sunny Studio word die. It's all been placed on a vanilla card base for a quick and easy Christmas card.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Jingle Belles Stars and Stripes challenge - make a christmas card using stars and/or stripes (I used both)

Craftyhazelnut's CHNC #392 - a/g as long as it's Christmas with an option of using a snowflake or two or more

Thanks for stopping by and if you live anywhere in my neck of the woods, stay cool!

Way to use those bit of paper! Nice tree design. Hot is an understatement. We are cleaning inside and changing beds. Hubby is shredding papers. Nice calm chores... LOL!

Inlaying it's a brilliant way to use scraps and don't waste anything, thanks for the inspiration!! :) Your Christmas card looks so pretty with those papers and the criss cross sparkling on the tree makes it very festive with the matching gold sentiment! Well done!
Hugs!
