Another Tuesday has rolled around, and it's time for the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge #452. This week we have a sketch designed by our own Debbie Foster and it's a fun one.
I pulled out a stamped image I've had for quite a while (the company who made it is now closed) and decided to make a little vacation card. I colored the turtle with Copics, adding fluorescent Copics to the surfboard. I matted the panel with black, then added a turquoise die-cut done with a Spellbinder's swatch die. I added an embossed panel of "water" done with a SU! seaside ef, and darkened the embossed lines with a Copic marker. The plaid dsp is by Lawn Fawn and the sentiment was done with an old wooden stick stamp. I used a SU! scalloped round punch along with a regular round punch, coloring the mat with an orange fluorescent Copic. The sun is a die-cut by Lil Inker and the center was made with a Poppy Holly & Leaves die. I added some TE enamel dots and a twine bow just for fun.
Now you can head over to my DT members to see their creations to inspire you to play along:
