Shopping our Stash #348

The SOS #348 challenge is to use Black, White, and 1 other color, so here's my entry. I used a snippet of dsp from my stash that has pretty green leaves on a black background and put a die-dut Memory Box Prim Poppy and a tiny SU!  die-cut butterfly on top. I added a beautiful white frame around it done with a Mama Elephant die (thanks Lynn), and added a SU! sentiment, done with a SU! word window punch. I hoarded saved this piece of dsp for ages waiting for just the right card to use it on, and I think it works here!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Carol

Very elegant! That is such a pretty frame and goes perfectly with your poppies. And your paper choice brings it all together nicely.

Very beautiful paper and a lovely background for your die cuts. This makes a nice sympathy card. It has got to feel good to find a good use for the hoarded (loved) paper!

Go figure.. I looked on my side bar to see if anyone posted and your quilted card was still showing. wonder why it is not updating in a timely manner. So glad I opened your blog and had a look see. This is charming, with that pretty paper! I agree that that is one striking frame, and the extra touches are perfect.

Definitely this awesome background looks swell with the white of these elegant flowers. The scalloped frame works well to show off this pretty design. Well done on saving that dp for just the right card. TFS
