TMS #445

Another Tuesday has rolled around and it's time for the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge #445. This week we have a sketch from Janice which is easy and fun to work with!

I dug into my stash for this piece of lacy lavender dsp and used it for the background after cutting it with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle. I die-cut a MFT stitched oval and placed a die-cut Gina Marie Designs Mother's day greeting. The lavender "happy" is an Echo Park Easter die-cut and I used a snippet of coordinating lavender paper. The prima flower I've had for eons and the center was filled with stamens that came with the flowers. 3 gemstones on the upper right side finished this card.

Be sure to check the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog to see the prize you can win for this week's challenge. While you're there, be sure to check my DT members creations as well. You'll be glad you did :)

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Tuesday!

Carol

So pretty, Carol! Love the Prima flower that you used! I have tons of those....somewhere! Love the beautiful paper you used on the cardbase, the stitched oval but most of all the awesome font in the sentiment diecut! Perfect in every way for a Mother's Day card! TFS and hang tight! We're in for another wild weather ride! *sigh*

Very pretty! I like the purples and that flower. Very feminine, perfect for a mother, unless, of course, your mother is a biker, then maybe not so much.

I like this graceful sketch, and your interpretation of it, is so pretty. Love that you were able to use the VOS flower, and that purple/lavender background, well, that is just the thing for a Mom's Day card. Love the sentiment too. TFS & Hugs

Very pretty card Carol. I'm so jealous of all your stitched dies, I keep saying that's what I'm going to buy next but then I end up spending on something else and still wanting them!
