Valentine Heart

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite Valentines I've made. This unbranded die is quite intricate and took some serious time to add the negatives back into the heart after die-cutting, but the end result was so worth it! The smaller red heart is a part of the die, and I added a smaller white heart on top, along with a clear heart-shaped gemstone in the center. The 2 sentiments are from Taylored Expressions and were heat-embossed with white ep on black for a little contrast. I added a red heart-shaped gemstone to the upper sentiment and placed this all on an embossed panel done with a SU! falling petals ef and finally placed it on a red card base.

No challenges for me today - just sharing a card I had fun creating. Thanks for stopping by and make it a great weekend!

Carol

It's a beauty!!!! What a wonderful and pretty heart die. You must have a ton of patience putting all the little pieces back in but yes, it was worth it. Just beautiful! Love the embossing in the background too.

Wow Carol, such accurate work on this amazing heart!! How many patience you have had putting any tiny piece on its place!! But the result is awesome!!! Lovely details, too, the cute little heart gems look so precious, the black sentiment and the embossing compliment so well the whole design! Very well done!! :)

I can see where this intricate die took a long time adding all the negative pieces but the end result is a beautifully designed Valentine.

It's beautiful - great texture, classic colour combo - and that intricate die cut must have been a challenge.

I can see why it's a favorite because it's beautiful! Don't think I'd have the patience to place all those pieces but it sure is very striking. Love the added gems and that embossing folder goes perfectly with it.
