Sending Love

I made this Memory Box butterfly with some dark blue cardstock and a snippet of polka dot paper and placed it on a Gina Marie Designs stitched square die-cut of watercolor paper that I smooshed and splattered with yellow and blue inks. I added a printed sentiment from SNSS that I've had in my doo-dad box for ages - matting it with some matching dark blue cardstock. It's on a Hello Honey cardbase.

I'm sharing this with the following challenges:

DCC13- Things with Wings

SOS335 - Watercolor with Us

There won't be any butterflies in my world today as we're in the midst of a wickedly cold and windy snowstorm, but I can look at this card and dream, right? Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Very pretty card.I like the blue with that honey color, and the watercolor part is very artsy. We are in the same snowstorm. It’s a good day to stay home!!

This is so pretty!! Love the dark outline over the patterned paper; what a great look! You must be on the East Coast getting that storm. I live in RI and we got hammered today. Luckily, we are in Florida on vacation. Hope you stay safe! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.

The weather where you are is all over the news and my heart really goes out to you humans and especially to all the little doggies who have to go out to wee! Take care, stay in, and stay warm!! One of MB's best butterfly dies IMHO, and it looks so delicate & springlike with the dot paper background. Really pretty against the softness of the smooshed colors too. Just the thing to brighten a cold windy day. The blues look so nice with the sunshine background of the card base too. TFS & Hugs
