Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #434

Hello Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge players! It's the annual "anything goes" TMS #434 where you can enter anything you've made. There is no sketch to follow this week as the DT takes a break to enjoy the holidays with their family and friends. This challenge runs from Tuesday, December 19th through January 2nd and you don't have to use a sketch. It's an anything goes challenge BUT there is one rule you need to follow; you can only combine your entry with a maximum of 2 other challenges. If your name is drawn and you've combined your entry with more than 2 other challenges, a new drawing will take place, so please keep this in mind!

I used one of those cute SU! crate dies to make this treat holder, cutting it from textured dark green cardstock and stamping it with a SU! hardwood background stamp using white pigment ink. I die-cut a Spellbinders Poinsettia with red, and punched some foliage with a Martha Stewart fern punch, covering everything with clear Wink of Stella for some subtle shimmer. There are 2 green foliage elements I made from snippets of green with a SU! Bouquet Bunch Framelit die set and added them to the mix. I used a large gemstone in the center and the sentiment was made with stickers on white cardstock. The inside holds 2 little bags of treats - one contains waffle pretzels with a slightly melted Rolo candy and a nut pressed into the center, while the other bag is bacon-dipped chocolate pretzels. Yep, bacon! Everything goes better with bacon! I used a Christmas tin filled with peppermint candy cane popcorn bags for the background. It's Christmas time and that calls for special treats to share with friends, family, and those who stop by for a little cheer.

Here's another photo of the crate without the popcorn tin behind it. You see my dining room chair instead LOL

The TMS DT will be back in 2018 with another sketch. Until then, enjoy the season and thanks for stopping by!
