Anniversary Shaker Card

I thought I'd try making a card with hearts in a color other than red, so for this one I used some Hello Honey and white. I made my first shaker card using tulle after receiving a beautiful one from a sweet friend. (Thanks Judy)
I die cut 2 stitched hearts to create the frame for the shaker and added an assortment of white, gold, and silver sequins. Next I decided to add some flower detail to the side to balance things. The large flower was done with a SU! flower shop stamp in versamark, then heat-embossed with white ep and fussy cut by hand. The smaller flowers (both honey and white) were done with SU! punches. The flourish was die-cut with a small Cheery Lynn fanciful flourish, and all the clear gemstones are from Pizzazz Aplenty. The sentiment is a peel-off sticker. What I really like most about this card is that the shaker is flat enough to mail without extra postage, plus the gems inside shake freely without getting stuck on the sides! That's a win/win for me :)

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Thanks for checking in again today and I wish you a day filled with sunshine and happiness :)

Carol

The tulle shaker portion is so wonderful on this beautiful card. I will have to give this a try as I like the idea that it mails for regular postage...unlike the old style shaker cards!

This is so very pretty Carol! Love the way you used the tulle a lot. Will have to hit up my sister as I think I saw some tulle in her craft room last time I was there! ;-)
