My Friend

Here's a card I made after finding this pre-colored Penny Black image in my overflowing box of doo-dads. The cardstock and dsp's were snippets from my other overflowing box of leftover paper/cardstock. I die cut the image with MFT stitched circle die, and then did the pastel blue panel, red panel and card base with Lil Inker stitched rectangles. I stamped a sentiment on the circle with a MFP "my friend" saying and added 3 tiny die-cut mini white stars to the bottom that were negatives from a SSS star border die.

I'm sharing this card with the following two challenges:

the Double D Challenge which is red-white-blue with optional stars and/or stripes

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a happy Friday!

Carol

This hedgehog melts my heart, he is so cute and love the dimension of the ladybug on his feets! It's fabulous also how the tiny leftover stars match with the blue paper! Lovely card!

Very sweet, with these lovely red, white and blue papers. I felt the patriotic vibe even before I saw what challenge you entered it in.

Wow... although red, white and blue are very much favorites. It is hard to think Memorial Day when they just said frost the beginning of the week! I do, however, love your PB creation!
