A Pink and White Birthday Card

Today I have a birthday card to share that uses lots of products, so I'll list them at the bottom of my post with links to some. It began with a crocheted circle panel that I won in some blog candy from Jessi Fogan. I've been hoarding the circles she sent me, and this was the last pink one I had, so I went all out with using it. I did place a white My Favorite things stitched circle die in the center to give it a little more stability before adding all the embellishments. The largest flowers were from a Hero Arts stamp set I won (no name on the set) and they were stamped with Versamark black onyx ink, clear heat-embossed, and then fussy cut before popping up on foam dimensionals.

I'm entering this into the Seize the Birthday challenge which is "anything goes."

Thanks for stopping by and have a great kick-off to the weekend!

Carol

Supplies:

paper - GP white, GinaK pink (for largest flowers), lighter pink cardstock for smaller flowers, black
ink - Versamark onyx black (to stamp the flowers), Versafine to stamp the sentiment panel
stamps - Sweet'n Sassy Poppy and Greetings (sentiment) Hero Arts largest flowers
dies - Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish, My Favorite Things stitched circle dies
accessories - Carl CP2 flower punch (larger light pink), Punch-a-Bunch flower punch (small 5/8" notched pink) SU! mini flower punches (retired) for small black flowers, and large flower centers, black stickles (flower centers) pink and black gemstones from Pizzazz Aplenty, embossing folder by Cuttlebug (decorative tiles) SU! foam dimensionals and white embossing powder, Tim Holtz Glossy accents to adhere the smaller flowers, Walmart corner rounder punch for the black sentiment panel

Oh wow! Carol, this is so pretty. I love the crocheted piece that Jesse sent. I have a couple of them too and they're always so perfect on a card. The flowers are beautiful and love the color combination!

What a beautiful card! (Almost) Makes me want to get out my crochet hook again...smile. As you know, this is one of my very favorite color combo's. Just like the fabulous card that you sent to me. Thank you so very much! (I treasure your cards) PS. I just posted it on my blog...and I hope to be able to do that same technique that you did on your card! Of course, mine won't turn out as nicely as yours did! Perfection!

Love this card and everything on it. The crochet piece is beautiful and so feminine. The flowers and the colors are just gorgeous. It looks like maybe some storms in your area today. Be careful. We are getting some rain but no big storms. Enjoy the day.
