Penny Black Easter Card

Today I have an Easter card that features a fun Penny Black image. I colored it with Copics, using fluorescent Copics to color the egg. I added clouds with a sponge and some Tumbled Glass Distress ink, then die-cut it with Lil Inkers stitched rectangles. I placed it on a Pool Party card base, adding a scalloped border in Island Indigo that was die-cut with a SNSS border die.

Here's what the inside looks like with the sentiment from the PB stamp set.

I'm sharing this with the Penny Black Saturday Challenge for March, which is to use bright colors.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a great weekend!

That's one big egg - but know I could handle that and especially if it was chocolate! Precious image and card. Love the scallop border at the bottom.

These little hedgies just warm my heart, and this one's just darling. Super work on the coloring, and it just made me smile to see him trotting along pulling his egg cart. Love the clouds in the sky too. Nicely framed, very cheery. TFS & Hugs

Oh this one is so darn cute or should I say delicious? Love the colors and the scallop bottom gives it just that extra something special. Oh it was a cold one today and will be again tomorrow. Awaiting the big snow storm on Tuesday.
Have a good Sunday.
