March Birthday

I used a retired Cuttlebug embossing folder to create the white panel on this card, adding aqua brads to the flower centers. I matted the white with a punched black border done with a dotted scallop border punch. The pre-embossed aqua paper was a find from Tuesday Morning and I added a stamped sentiment from Lily of the Valley.

I'm entering this into the Little Red Wagon Challenge #383 - which is to use the color of the March birthstone - aquamarine.

Have a great Saturday and thanks so much for stopping by today!

This is so pretty with all the embossing. I like the black border a lot, it is amazing how much they add! I love your Tuesday Morning find, I haven't been there in ages. TFS!

Love that embossed flower on your card, Carol! I always forget that I have that! What a cool challenge to use the birthstone of March and that embossed card base is perfect for this! Love the scalloped edge along your flower! I just used this punch yesterday making Easter treats. Great minds think alike! TFS and hope you have a great Saturday! :)

Love this card, so striking! The embossed flowers with the brads in the center are fabulous and the black border really make them pop out!

That aqua is a gorgeous color and it really backs up your flower panel so nicely. Just a lovely card.
Hope you are not freezing there today. We are quite cold at 12° today and 9° tomorrow morning. Staying in by the fire.

I love your card Carol! Th color combo is just beautiful. I have the flower embossing folder and haven't use it in so long, haven't used any of my embossing folders in a long time! I need to do something about that!! lol I love how you used your flower embossing with the tiny punch on either side of it, it really make the flower panel pop. Hugs, Brenda

Pretty fresh colors. Love the tall embossed flowers, adding that acqua stamen really sparks up the embossing too. As did the tiny black borders separating the white from the embossing on the nice blue. Love it. TFS

What a simple but stunning card. The layout and the colors are perfect. I just ran across some of those skinny embossing folders the other day. I stashed them in a "special place" (which usually means completely lost).
