Elmo Says Hi There!

I don't use this Elmo image nearly enough, because it makes great cards for hospitalized kids. Today I tried to make a card for a little boy by using some alphabet and masculine papers - snippets from my overflowing stash. I colored Elmo with a SU! real red marker and an orange gel pen for his nose, and added some ribbon and a couple of negative pieces from a pinpoint border die cut. The Elmo image and MFP sentiment were both stamped on vanilla and the sentiment was matted with early espresso cardstock. The image panel mat and card base are kraft cardstock, and the design was based on this week's

Thanks for the little visit and I hope your day is everything you want it to be.

This is a perfect masculine card for a boy, Carol, and I'm sure that the hospitalized kid will love it! The image of Elmer is very cute and fun, and such cute details with the leftover crosses and the orange nose!

Elmo! I love him. Do you remember when Tickle Me Elmo came out... I managed to get one for my son for Christmas. He was all the rage. Well that is what your card reminded me of. Thanks for bringing that memory back to me - he'll be 22 next week. And now my eyes are watering. Thanks for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
