Ice Skating Hedgies

I've always been fond of these Penny Black ice-skating hedgies, so I made a couple cards to use up some Christmas snippets of dsp which I paper-pieced for their scarves. Both the snow and waves embossing folders are from SU! and the stitched snowflake dies are from Lawn Fawn with a tiny red gemstone in the center. The sentiment is from an older MFT stamp set. The blue cardstock is some precious SU! Cool Caribbean I've been hoarding for a long time. This card will be entered into the following challenges:

Tuesday Throwdown #324 - Winter Critters

CHNC #315 - anything goes (Christmas)

CHNC challenge extra for January - anything goes (Christmas)

Here they are with kraft colored scarves and a slightly different sentiment cut as well as a different smaller snowflake.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you're staying warm where you live!

(Happy Birthday Elvis - today would have been his 82nd birthday)
Carol

Son #3 was born on Elvis's birthday. I can still remember what I was doing when I learned he passed. I was only in 4th grade and couldn't believe it! Such a loss but how his music lives on. Now this card is just adorable!!! I am in love with those cute hedgies!!! What a great Christmas card this will make for your stash. Hugs, Brenda

Spotted these when I was looking at the later post, and think I've got this image. Really great coloring of these little critters, which are probably my fav of the PB images. Also love the embossing treatments you've done on each card...the waves look so cool with the falling snow. I'm liking these brown hedgies too. TFS

Oh look! You got a photo of me at my zumba class... going the wrong way as usual. Zumba on ice, that sounds dangerous. This card is not dangerous though, it's adorable as heck. Love your use of embossing folders.
