4 square

I  wanted to use this CTMH set of 4 small heart stamps to make another valentine, but I omitted one and put the tiny valentine sentiment into the last square. I used GinaMarieDesigns stitched squares for the white and pearl grey panels, stamping the images with cherry cobbler ink and adding heart brads to each square. The lower border was embossed with a SU! tiny hearts ef, and matted with a cherry cobbler border done with a Martha Stewart heart border punch. The pale pink cardbase is by Bazzill. I snagged that tiny Valentine stamp at a yard sale once for pennies, but I have no idea who makes it.

This card won't be going to the Cards from the Heart Drive because it has brads on it and they are not permitted, so this will go elsewhere :)

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Carol

This is a beautiful design, love the geometric look with the four stitched squares and the hearts inside them. The sentiment instead of the fourth heart looks great and the little brads add a lovely touch! Beautiful borders and sweet colours, too!

I like this design. I've always been attracted to 4 squares with different or repeating things in the squares. Your card is extra special because you added in those nice extra touches like the embossed strip and the heart punched border.

This is lovely Carol, I like the little heart stamps and the way you have displayed them. I like the Happy Valentines Day stamp too, I think small greeting and sentiment stamps can be so useful at times. I love the way you finished this card with the brads and embossed and punched borders as well.

Hi Carol! Love the cards you've been making for the Cards from the Heart Card Drive. I'm making some for them too, who knows I may just have to put some my much neglected blog! This card with the hearts is just darling. Those little hearts with messages are adorable, and the red, pink, and grey is a color combo I'm going to have to try - so much softer than the black I usually turn to. Hope all is going well for you. I really appreciate your kind comments on my blog.
