Plum Christmas Card

I like using different colors for Christmas cards, so I pulled out one of my favorite retired SU! stamp sets called "Snow Swirled" and made this card with some plum colored cardstock. I heat embossed the tree and vertical panel with lavender embossing powder and matted the tree with a darker purple cardstock, adding random lavender gemstones to both panels. The sentiment was heat embossed with lavender embossing powder to finish this card.

I'm sharing with Craftyhazelnut's Christmas challenge #313 which is to use a sentiment. I'm also entering this into Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra for December 2016 - always anything goes.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Merry Christmas eve to those of you who celebrate Christmas!

Very striking and I like the non-traditional color. That's one pretty Christmas tree, and love the way you've sort of replicated the tree's design in the border treatment. Merry Christmas to you & DH as well. Thanks for your friendship this past year, and looking forward to more in 2017. TFS & Hugs

GMTA I guess although I don't know how great my mind is these days. LOL I say that because I absolutely love this card in these colors. I made one similar a couple of weeks back but I just did one snowflake and a ribbon around the vertical panel. But I like your version much better so I will be casing this for sure. Hope you are having a nice resting (boxing) day today.
Sorry I'm behind on visiting.
