Deck The Halls

Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. I've been having a serious argument with a few kidney stones. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and a fun day of shopping on Black Friday.

My card today makes use of one of those Tim Holtz Crazy Birds again, and I paired him with a random piece of DSP I've had forever. I colored the bird with Copics and gave him a Santa hat from the Tim Holtz Crazy Birds accessory stamp set. The mistletoe was done with a G Studio stamp and I colored it with Copics, die cutting the image panel with a Gina Marie square stitched die. The dsp and smoky slate card base were die-cut with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle die set. The sentiment was done with a G Studio stamp with the words being cut apart and mounted on smoky slate cardstock.

I'm sharing this with the following challenges:

November Rudolph Days - make any Christmas card

CHNC Challenge Extra for November - make any Christmas card

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Christmas to Die For
(Make anything for Christmas and use a Die Cut)

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a great week ahead!

Carol

Oh Carol, I hate to hear that you were fighting with kidney stones!! What a PITA they are!!! I've had many years of fights with them myself and the last ones required surgery. I hope you have passed them now and are stone free! This bird always cracks me up with his expression!! I love him with his Santa hate and the mistletoe hanging. He certainly is decking the halls! Hugs, Brenda

This CB is just delightful. His expression (while cute as can be, and always makes me smile), made me smile thinking "rocks". Love the background DP, and of course, your coloring is fab, as always. Hope you are winning the stones battle too. Big hugs & TFS

Oy, Carol, I'm sorry to read that you are suffering from kidney stones! I understand that's as painful as childbirth so my heart goes out to you! I hope they've settled down by now and I'm sorry if they ruined your Thanksgiving. Your karazy bird looks like he has no interest in decking any halls considering the way he is looking at that mistletoe!! It karacks me up!! Hugs, Darnell
