Perfect Pines

I have a card today with an embossed background done with kraft cardstock, white ink, and a SU! woodland embossing folder. You can google many different ways to add color to this folder, but I just brayered white ink on one side of the folder, then ran it through my big shot and voila! The trees were white! I added some snowy hillsides with Lawn Fawn stitched hillside dies, and 2 stamped and die-cut trees from the SU! Perfect Pines stamps and dies. The stars were done with a SU! mini punch, and the sentiment is from Northwoods. I added some gold marker accents to the tree on the right.

I'm sharing this with the following challenges:

Happy Little Stampers October Christmas challenge which is "embossing." (dry or heat-embossing)

The Snippets Playground #249 which is to always use snippets.

The Craftyhazelnut's Christmas challenge CHNC #301 which is "vintage, or anything goes. I went with the anything goes option.

Also the CHNC Challenge Extra for October 2016 which is always "anything goes" with a Christmas theme.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your Wednesday is a good one.

When I first saw the color of the trees in your background, I thought it was a stencil and embossing paste! I am not so good with a brayer so I am always amazed by these cards that involve brayering!

Very pretty scene!

That has to be one of my very favorite embossing folders. It is so fun to place things in front of and behind the trees! This came out beautifully, Carol!
