Sometimes Life is a Pain in the Neck...

Today I have an encouragement card based on the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge #365. The elements are there, but when I placed the focal panel a little off-center as the sketch shows, it just had no balance, so I centered it instead. The background began with lots of 1" punched squares of a retired SU! dsp, all glued down in a patchwork pattern, then cut with a top note die. I embossed it afterward with a Cuttlebug decorative tiles ef. The sentiment panel was done with a SU! framelit die and Here for You" sentiment, and I edged it with a matching Copic to give it a bit more definition before adding some candi dots. The inside sentiment is "Hang in there." All the flowers were done with SU! punches in hello honey and coastal cabana cardstock, and I dotted the centers with a black glitter pen. The ribbon is from my stash, and the card base was die cut with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle die.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

Carol

Love the colors and the feel to this card. It's been awhile since I finished off a quilted look card with embossing. I need to do that again soon since I'm on a kitty kick and kitties love quilts.

I always love your embossed patchwork patterns, and this isn't an excelption!! It looks fabulous. The top note die is just perfect to layer the other frame and make the sentiment pop out. Sweet flowers and lace! Another very pretty card from you!
