I recently won blog candy from a sweet blogging friend who lives in Italy, and among the goodies she sent me was this pretty ribbon, as well as those cute puffy stickers you see on this card! Thanks Alice!!
This card began with a piece of cardstock that was sponged with distress inks (picked raspberries and spiced marmalade) and then stamped and heat-embossed with an IO hexagon background stamp and some white ep. I cut the panel diagonally and adhered it to the black card base, using the leftover portion to die-cut the flower tops of those SSS fresh daisies dies. I used the ribbon to separate the panels and added a SU! framelit die-cut sentiment panel using a SU! sincere salutations sentiment embossed in white. I added some butterfly and flower stickers that Alice included with my blog candy package and called this one done.
Note: I used my embossing buddy all over this card, but those flecks of white ep were like magnets that I couldn't eliminate to get a good photo......sigh
I'm entering this over at Darnell's NBUS #7 challenge where the only requirement is to use some "Never Before Used Schtuff." Click the icon below, because I know you have some unused schtuff in your stash and you know you want to play along :)
Thanks for stopping by and make it a fantastic day!
