Heart Snippets

I have this habit of punching assorted little bits of left-over cardstock and dropping them into tiny boxes for later uses. I loved these pale blue and lavender colors together, so I used a MS hydrangea punch to make all the flowers (after embossing them with a Swiss Dots ef) and decided to use them together. I lightly drew a heart outline with a pencil, then after pressing the flower centers with a stylus to shape them, I glued them on one by one until the heart was filled with flowers. The word "Love" was done with my Quickutz and I added some piercing around the edges. This may be the most tedious snippet card I ever made, but I can't duplicate it, because I gave this hydrangea punch away recently to some young aspiring crafters who will probably enjoy it as much as I did :)

I'm sharing this with what else??...........the Snippets Playground #244

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Sunday!

Carol

You made a gorgeous card with your little punched flowers. I just hope the new owner of this punch sees the same beauty in it that you did. Enjoy the evening.

Those colors are beautiful together and even better to make a realistic colored hydrangea. Thanks for saying how you made the heart shape. It is really such a nice card!

This is very lovely! You have lots of patience to do all you did with this card-embossed the pieces, punched them, cupped them, and then placed them hither and yon in a heart shape. It's a card worthy of all that work.
