Sparkle

Here's a card that makes use of a stamp set from Winnie & Walter that Lisa Haines of the Purple Place gave me as a gift when I bought some of her stamping supplies she was selling. She's having the battle of her life, so please click the link and leave her some love.

I used some snippets of Basic Grey dsp I've had for ages, placing them in random fashion and cutting with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle and embossing with a CB decorative tiles folder. The main panel was stamped in razzleberry ink with matching punched circles popped up on foam tape to make the centers for the fireworks. Razzleberry is the card base which was also done with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle.

I'm sharing this at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is "anything goes."

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a fantastic day!

Carol

Oh these colors are so scrumptious! Do I spy some Indian Summer paper in there? I love your quilted look cards. Too nifty.

Brilliant way of using up all your snippets of paper and then using an embossing folder over the top. Love those striking colours. Hugs Mrs A.

What a great set that you scored! Love that background you have created. I am going to miss my BG papers when they are gone. I credit them with turning me into a paper hoarder. :)

Always love your quilts, and what a pretty way to use the more mod look of the diadem images. Great colors to combine in this yummy card, and a wonderful way to celebrate your friend. I'll pop over to say Hello. (of course, always like the stitch-iness too). Hugs & TFS

I always love your backgrounds like this Carol! The stamps are so cool and go perfectly with the sentiment. Goodness, I hated to read about the gal you got some crafty goodies from, makes my mind go right back to Dwayne's fight. Makes my tummy get all twisted in knots to hear how hard other's are fighting too. I sure do hate cancer! Hugs, Brenda
