Just For You

The Little Red Wagon Challenge #347 is "Kraft-tastic" - in other words, use kraft paper on your project. I started with a SB diagonal chevron die and cut 4 times with kraft, aqua, black, and white cardstocks. I inlaid the colorful negatives to get a pattern I liked, and then added a cute little Art Impressions chihuahua image, colored with Copics and fussy cut by hand. The image panel was die cut with Gina Marie stitched circles, and dotted with punched negatives for accents. The 3 circles on the left were done with a Poppystamps stitched holly berries and leaves die set, adding black and white smaller circles done with a SU! owl punch. The SU! sentiment was heat-embossed with white on kraft, and this one is headed to Cards for Hospitalized Kids.

Thanks for checking in today, and I wish you the best day ever!

Cool card! I like all your inlaid-ness. So when you make these cards, don't you have all the parts to make similar other colored versions of it then? Or do you just make the one and call it done?

Seems I am back to getting your posts a day late. I really like this card, Carol. The colors look fantastic the way you swapped them out.

Cuteness (and complexity) in one card. The puppy just made me smile at that look on his little face. Like the way you've spotlighted his little sweet self too. The background (and colors the way you've used to meet the challenge) just is awesome...Lots of complex inlay work here, done perfectly! I like the GM dies, just got my first order & was pleased with the company and the products. TFS & Hugs
