Using Designer Paper Pads

Here's a card I made with an Inky Antic image and sentiment. The image was colored with Copics, and I used some Echo Park "For the Record 2" dsp along with some SU! Midnight Muse and Daffodil cardstock. I used a SU! framelit die for the little banner, adding double hearts with a Tonic punch and some yellow and white twine. This is going into my next box for Cards for Hospitalized Kids.
I've been trying to make 2 of each card lately, so I can fill up my donation boxes quickly, so here's another version......

For this one I used a decorative dots embossing folder from SU! along with some Lawn Fawn polka dot designer papers.

I'm sharing with the Tuesday Throwdown #288 which has a theme of "furry friends."

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a great week ahead!

Carol

Love expecially the design and the colours of the first one, and its little banner with the punched hearts is just adorable!!

Awww, both of these cards are so cute Carol! I love that sweet image and love the way you colored them. Your papers are fabulous and how perfect is that sentiment?! Hope you survive the high winds we had with no damage. Hope you didn't lose electric either, so many did. I was blessed and didn't loose mine and no damage was done here. Well I didn't check out the pool, but it was still standing! Hugs, Brenda

Cute cards, Carol, You always do such a nice job with patterned paper. So creative. You sure will brighten some children's day with these cards!

You asked on my blog...If I had a nice time at the craft show...
YES!!! I went with Jim. We only stayed for a few hours, but it's enough time for me...(to overspend my allotted budget! LOL) But hopefully, the new "toys" will help inspire me to get back to more card making...(All I need is to find the time!)
