Looking Through the Window

I have another Christmas card to share today. I die-cut the window and holly pieces at my friends' house and put them into a bag, not taking time to note who makes them, sorry. I started with a brick embossed background done with a Tim Holtz ef, lightly sponged with 2 different red inks. I stamped the Flourishes tree image in green on a white card snippet, then added gold ornaments all over it by dotting with gold stickles. Next was the red window panel, and the shutters and window box which were done in black. The holly stem was done in gumball green and I colored the berries with a red glitter pen. The sentiment is by SU!, embossed in white on a black panel and fussy cut. Most scenes are looking out the window to the great outdoors, but I had to be different and make a scene looking in. Ha!

I'm sharing this at the Jingle Belles Christmas card challenge which is "All Bundled Up" - in other words, use 3 layers or more.

I'm also taking it over to the Snippets Playground #218 - which is to always use your snippets.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

Carol

I love this card Carol! And it makes perfect sense to me that the view is into the house - I don't have window boxes inside my windows :) These cards really are such fun to make too!

Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground!

Hugs

Super window scene, It makes perfect sense to be looking in to see the lovely Christmas tree inside. I really like the holly sprig too.

I like that wee greeting on this card. It doesn't wish it detract from the lovely window scene.
