Greetings of the Season

Here's another card I made using folded hexagon punched elements to create the center medallion. I used double-sided dsp from SU!, along with a Lawn Fawn stitched snowflake that was heat-embossed with gold ep, then anchored it in the center with a gold brad. The crocheted medallion was a blog candy gift from Jessi Fogan and I cut a white insert piece done with a MFT stitched circle die, placing the medallion on top of that. The sentiment (I think it's by Northwoods) was also heat embossed with gold. I'm sharing this over at the February Rudolph Days challenge which ends on the last day of February.

Thanks for stopping by. My heart goes out to everyone in the line of fire for yesterday's wicked storms. We had incredible hard rain last night and lost our power for a couple hours, but we're OK. Some folks are still without power today, so stay safe everyone!

A gorgeous work of ark. Those crocheted medallions really add a sweet touch to your cards. That was some real nice blog candy. I just love the look you get with the folded hexagons. We got the heavy rain and winds but never lost power. There are thousands out around us, but we were real lucky. Glad to hear you didn't lose yours for too long. Have a good day. Right now it is 57° here.

A beautiful card, love the crotchet centre, beautifully put together.

Glad to hear you are safe and sound, I haven't heard about the storms yet, this side of the pond! However I hope there hasn't been too much damage and everyone is OK.

Beautiful card Carol! I love that paper you have used and I love the crocheted medallion. The folded hexagon medallion is so awesome and I so need to try this.

Glad you are ok from last nights storms. I was blessed and didn't lose electric and no damage here. Just a little water in the old part of the basement. So definitely counting my blessings! My heart and prayers go out for those who were in the line of these wicked storms across the states. Lancaster was hit with a tornado, so praying for those there as well. I'm just feeling very blessed! Hugs, Brenda

There is such warmth in this! The non-traditional colors are very elegant. Love the texture that the crocheted medallion gives, too. So glad to hear that you are safe and sound, and praying for those who were affected by the storms!

Glad to know you are safe. If you used snippets on this card, you still have 25 mins to add your entry to the Snippets Playground. Miss Di has confiscated my whistle, and I'll be back in the Tree House from tomorrow!
