Always in My Heart

My card today was made for the Cards in Envy "From the Heart Challenge." I was sad to read that the blogging world lost another wonderful card designer who came up with the Cards in Envy idea. You can read all the details about Denise here and perhaps send a card to her family if you have the time.

I used a Unity stamp for the image and colored it with Copics, matting it on a black circle cut with Lil Inker stitched dies. The SB lotus was cut with Melon Mambo and the hearts were done with a SU! mini heart punch. The arrows were done with matching colors using a Momenta arrow die.

I'm also entering this into the Snippets Playground #214.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do. As Darnell always says, life is too short.

Carol

Cute, fun, and pretty card Carol! Love the red and black and that's cute to have all the hearts in the jar.
Denise was not only a wonderful card maker but also a very, very special sweet lady. She was a gem and is going to be missed by everyone.

However did you end up with a Unity stamp that I don't own. I am still giggling. It is a real cutie, too! Might need to borrow that one, my friend. Lots of sweet details for this card, also. Hunkering down for the rain and flooding today. Keep your feet dry!

I followed your link Carol and was saddened to ready about Denise. It brought tears to my eyes that yet another beautiful person had to be taken by cancer. But God has Denise and Dwayne up in heaven and hopefully they are both carrying out with what they love to do and aren't in pain from the cancer anymore. Your card is fabulous Carol, I love the black/white and pink color combo. Hugs, Brenda
