Sparkle & Shine

I wish I had better lighting to capture the sparkle and shine on this card, but unfortunately it's barely visible. There are diamond stickles on the "hills" and the red stars were embossed with red tinsel glitter. I also cut the star from gold mirror cardstock, while I embossed all 3 trees with gold, as well as the sentiment. If you click the photo to enlarge it, you may be able to see the details.

I'm sharing this over at the DRS Designs challenge #211 which is "sparkle and shine." I played along with their challenge for the first time last week and won! Woohoo - I love beginner's luck!! :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great Saturday!

Carol

stamps/dies - SU! Peaceful Pines, Lawn Fawn stitched hillsides, sentiment by SNSS, MB star of wonder
cardstock - gumball green, GP white, mirror gold
other - diamond stickles, gold ep, red tinsel ep

Congrats for your won! :D
I zoomed the picture sooooo much :D and I have seen the stickles line on the stitch, wonderful detail! I seen also the glitter on the red star, your card is very shining!
Love so much the gold embossing on the trees, it seems a embroidery! Adorable!
P.S. Also at Allsorts there is a sparkle theme, if I am not mistaken... ;)
Have a great crafting weekend!

Congrats on the win! This is a lovely wintery Christmas scene. I'm sure it really shines in real life as we can see a hint of it here.

Lucky ducky! You have the best beginners luck! The trees remind me of my yard and the way the snow is swirling by the lake. Guess it will be melting this week, and we will soon be making mud pies. Nice job, Carol!
