Thankful

I always try to keep a few thank-you cards on hand, so I've been making a serious effort to use the hoarded papers I've accumulated through the years. This is a SU! sentiment, done with a note tag punch and a scalloped top punch. I used Coastal Cabana dsp and cardstock, rounding the corners for a soft look.

This uses a piece of dsp from SU! along with a snippet of Lawn Fawn twine to tie around the ribbon.

Lastly, this also uses snippets of SU! dsp along with pear pizzazz cardstock. For this one, I turned back one corner, adding an IO die-cut button with twine and a couple SU! stickers in matching colors. A few snippets of twine in coordinating colors finished this card.

With all the snippets used, I'll be sharing these over at the Snippets Playground #208 and#209.

In case anyone hasn't heard, Leslie Hanna of the "Crooked Stamper" passed away suddenly on Christmas day. Blogger will not be the same as her wonderful sense of humor and beautiful cards will be missed. Thanks for the wonderful memories Leslie.

Thank you for being such faithful visitors this past year! I always enjoy having you stop by, and I wish you a great week ahead!

Carol

These are such pretty thank you cards, Carol! Thank you for the wonderful inspiration at a time of year when I need it for thank you cards!

I heard the shocking and sad news about Leslie on the HA post last night and I still can't wrap my head around it. What a loss to our community in Blogland and, of course, to her family. Another reminder of life being too short. I will really miss her. Enjoy this last week of 2015!! Hugs, Darnell

I love these papers and the way you turned them into gorgeous cards. Each one is so special and sweet but I think I love the last one the best. It just popped out at me with those beautiful colors and that turned up corner is such a nice touch. Thanks for letting us know about Leslie. I am totally shocked. I haven't been on the computer much at all these past few days so I hadn't heard. Enjoy your day today.

Hi Carol

Thanks for visiting. LOVE the look of your tag thank you cards. I had the same idea as you, and was making a concerted effort to use up designer paper on my thank you cards too! Got so much of the stuff. GOT to start using it. 2016 will be the year of using up paper for me!

Hugs, Sarn xxx
