Layer It On

Today I have a thank you card that makes use of some random snippets of blue and green cardstock. I used a CB pinking embossing folder along with some SB squares, and Nestabilities Square Swatches to layer the panels, adding a Punch-a-Bunch bow and SU! heart punch. A tiny black mini brad added just enough contrast for the SU! sentiment.

I'm sharing this with Cards in Envy where the challenge is to "put some extra layers on."

It's also being shared at Pixie's Snippets Playground #203 where the challenge is always to use snippets.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Tuesday.

Carol

I've always loved the fonts on that sentiment stamp. This is the first time I'm seeing those pinking squares and rectangles and I really like them a log. Very, very nice card. Wishing you a good day.

Annie hit the nail on the head Carol - this card real does look almost like textiles, wonderful for the zig zag/pinking theme! It's a real beauty :)

A fab snippet make and love the colors. The texture in the blue layer put me in mind of a chambray shirt, and looks very 'professional' with the white & gray. (remember the oxford cloth dress blouses one used to wear to work?). Loved all the pinking design, looks very nice with the stitching lines too, and the tiny heart in the bow is just a perfect touch. Lotsa layers, cool colors. I LIKE it! TFS

I love the embossed frame on this Carol, and super jagged edged square layers. Lovely font for the sentiment stamp as well.

My first thought was exactly what Mary Anne said in her comment...It looked like fabric to me too. Very nicely done (Makes me want to sew again...almost anyway...smile)
