Jingle Belles is Serving up Leftovers!

The challenge over at the Jingle Belles is "Holiday Leftovers." In other words, use something left over, like snippets of paper, ribbon, off-cuts, pre-made images never used, etc. I saved all these snippets of SU! paper that I loved in traditional Christmas colors, and cut them into 1" and 2" pieces, arranging them on a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I added a felt snowflake from years gone by, along with a Lawn Fawn die cut snowflake, and attached them with a vanilla brad. The sentiment was die cut with a KaiserCraft die in Cherry Cobbler and I used a Very Vanilla card base. I love how this one turned out and I'll be making more in different colors so I can use up those bargain snowflakes I bought and barely used so many moons ago! It's a great way to use those dsp snippets that I have trouble throwing away too!

Speaking of Snippets, I'll be sharing this one over at the Snippets Playground #205 too.

Thanks for stopping by on this busy weekend, and I hope you have a fantastic day!

Carol

Oh Carol what a beautiful card. It looks like patchwork, but as a quilter I would say this!

A FAB snippet make, and I always think "quilt" when you do these fantastic designs. They are my favorite of all you do, and you really know how to combine the papers so nicely and add in the borders. Love the bold sentiment. TFS & have a great week. Hugs

This is a great card and great use of snippets. Those patterns are so festive together. That snowflake you pieced together is a real winner.
