Christmas Joy

Hello and a very happy Sunday to you, thanks for your visit today :)

I have a Christmas card to share that makes use of an Elizabeth Craft Designs 5 part pine die set (shared by my buddy M.A.)  I curled each piece around a pencil to give it dimension, and popped it up on foam tape. I used Liquid Applique to give it some snow, then hit it with my heat gun to puff it up a little. The word "Joy" was done with my Quickutz, and the white-embossed sentiment on black is from SNSS. The embossing folder is by SU! called softly falling.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

The Snippets Playground #200 - They're celebrating their 200th challenge (YAY)

October Rudolph Days - always Christmas Cards

Have a fun day, and please know I appreciate everyone who takes time to stop by!

Love that tree and the Liquid Applique really look fantastic on there. I also like the way your sentiment is in two different colors and pieces. Great card. Hope you have a fun Sunday.

Fab Christmas tree card with the puffed up snow. You must be very patient using your pencil to roll up the edges!

Happy Rudolph Day!

Wow, there's a deceptive amount of work in this card Carol. The effect is CAS but I bet it took quite a while to make that tree for starters! Love it!

Hi Carol,
what a great card.
Love that tree, and the embossing looks like snow fall.
Great design too.
Sally H, and me are apple bobbing behind the bike sheds if you want to be naughty like us don't let Miss Di or Parsnip catch you though.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

One more awesome card. Great shaping on this frosted tree. Looks so pretty against the dots embossing with the bright red Joy emblazoned above the sentiment. Great combination of pretty elements. TFS

This is the coolest die and your white accent is amazing for it. The dotty background just rocks this card!
