Be-Tween Birthday Card

Today's card was made for a young girl just entering her teens, and I kept it simple with strips of some Lawn Fawn and unknown dsp on a black card base. The "happy" is a die cut from Simon Says Stamp, while the "birthday" is a die cut from Sweet'n Sassy stamps. I cut the "birthday" with some flashy raspberry mirror cardstock for some sparkle and shine. I'm loving that I can use those saved snippets of dsp to make quick and easy cards like this!

I'm entering this into the following challenges today:

Tuesday Throwdown #261 - anything goes

Shopping our Stash #218 - Mirror, Mirror, use something reflective

Cuttlebug Mania September Challenge - anything goes (used my Big Shot to die cut the words)

Snippets Playground #193 - must use snippets

Thanks for popping in today and I wish you a wonderful Wednesday!

Carol

Using different fonts for this card is perfect--it adds to the celebratory feel, especially that fancy schmancy mirrored stuff. Fun card!
