Loud Music and Furry Friends

The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is "furry friends." I'm using a Penny Black image because I don't have any Newton's Nook images that the DT is featuring this week. I used 3 different patterned papers along with an EK zig-zag punch for the black panels to separate the dsp's. I colored the image with Copics, sponging clouds in with Tumbled Glass ink from Ranger, and I dug deep into my stash to find a ribbon brad (who else still has them??) and tied a piece of yellow & white gingham ribbon to it just for fun.

Since the Shopping our Stash challenge #209 is gingham style, I'll share this card over there too.

I didn't think this image needed a sentiment, so I didn't add one. It just made me smile without one :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your Friday is a great one for you!

These hedgiedogs are sooo fun and cute!! Your sponging clouds are fabulous, like so much how they disappear fringing out! And the background design is gorgous with these papers and the big zig zag. Well done!

OMGosh, this card just cracks me up! I love those hedgie's and the one looks like me when my son used to put his ear buds up to my ears! Yeah, he got them taken away for listening to them to loud. I love how you have colored these cuties and the scene you have created with them. I never knew what those brad were called or what you used them for. I tell you I live under a rock! lol I wish I had some of these as I think they are cute on a card! I will be on the look out now. lol Hugs, Brenda

What a happy card. I like what you did in the background behind the image piece. I remember ribbon brads. I might even have one or two. Maybe. Not sure I could find them.
