Thanks - 3 Ways

Recently I won this awesome little die from the Snippets Playground, so I had a fun time playing with it. The "daffodils" die is from Joanna Sheen, and I die cut it in green, yellow, polka dot yellow dsp, and red, layering different colors by snipping them apart for a fun and colorful flower bouquet. I used Lil Inker rectangle stitched dies to make use of all the retired SU! dsp snippets, adding a tiny SU! tag and sentiment with some daffodil ribbon and gold cording. This is an A2 standard-sized card....

and this is an ATC-sized card (2-1/2" x 3-1/2") done the same as above, but using different dsp and cardstock snippets.

and here is the last one using kraft instead of green. I just love these little daffodils - they make the prettiest thank-you cards regardless of the size!

I'm sharing these over at the Snippets Playground #181 and 182.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a colorful day whatever you do!

Carol

Hi Carol! I keep telling myself I must be better about visiting my favorite blogs. So here I am. I'm also not good at keeping resolutions, lol! But I am so glad I stopped by; your card is gorgeous!! I have never seen a flower paper-pieced in this way and you know I love paper-piecing! Beautiful work, truly!

Three beautiful cards! You have had a great idea to cut some different papers and then mix the pieces that you have snipped apart! Fabulous!
This daffodyl die you have win at the Di's challenge is so pretty and the stitched rectangles look great in all the cards! I love expecially the second one, green and orange is a colour combo that I always like and it's so pretty the center of the flower made with a different colour. Well done!

Congrats to lucky you on the snippety win! You've used that die just splendidly with all the brilliant colors of the paper pieces on the pretty flowers. The die stitched mats are great and of course, again with the perfect dp's to enhance your die design. WTGo! TFS
