Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

Today is the 21st annual National Scrapbooking day, and Deedee's Digis is celebrating with a challenge and a prize for one lucky winner! She's also celebrating with a 21% discount code for one week, so be sure and check out all the details and get the code here

Since I don't do much scrapbooking these days, I made a card instead. I'm using an image and sentiment from Deedee's digis called Cup of Joy, and I used the line version so I could color it with my Copics. The sentiment came from the Life's a Picnic set and I matted it with black. I cut the image panel with SB square dies, and embossed the white panel with a Sizzix TH damask ef. The card base and ribbon are both Berry Sorbet from PTI.

Deedee's Digis May Progressive challenge is in full swing too, so why not come play along with us and earn some free digi stamps at the same time? Get the details here.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great creative and crafty day!

Just beautiful. I love that background embossing as much as the lovely bouquet of flowers. Your coloring is gorgeous and the cup and ribbon match so well. Have a fun day.

A beautiful cheerful card, I love the image of the cupful of lovely yellow flowers. The super embossing looks great as a background, and I like the sentiment too.

Beautiful card, Carol. Nice coloring!

I don't scrapbook much either anymore...but I think I'm going to try and do at least one scrapbook page today.

In answer to your question on my blog, Carol, a Fitbit...is a wrist band...that not only will tell me the time and date...but will tell me my heart rate, how many steps I walk in a day, how many miles, my sleep quality, etc.
(That is if I figure out how to set up all these things...LOL!)

The one thing I know, I don't do as much exercise in a day as this gadget wants me to do...I might have to give up some of my card making time...NOT! smile

Love your fab coloring on these cheery yellow posies in their teacup pot. This is just a happy, happy feeling card. Lovely embossing, and like the way you've matted the digi sentiment - that black made it pop. TFS & Happy wkend.
