Unlikely Places

Deedee's digis is sponsoring the Crafting by Designs March challenge which is "anything goes" so I've made a card using Deedee's digi set called "Unlikely Places". I used the line drawing and colored it with Copics, adding the sentiment to the center of the teapot. For the lower panel, I made a template with an EK bricked punch, and colored through it randomly with 3 different copics on white cardstock. To finish it, I punched a border from black and laid that on top. I colored a piece of sheer ribbon with a matching Copic and used a piece of dsp from my stash.

Just a reminder that the March progressive challenge is still going on over at Deedee's digis blog, and you can win free stamps by playing along! You can find all the details here.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Carol

This is so dang cute Carol! I love that image, it makes me smile. I love the sentiment on the teapot-a perfect place for it. I also love, love that bottom punch you used and I love how you made a stencil from it and colored in the "brick" with different shades of pink. So pretty!! Hugs, Brenda

Oh this is cute, cute! And I love that sentiment. Great job with this fab digi (which I didn't get yet. I was busy with the Easter & Irish ones!) That little fishy popping out of the teapot just makes me smile. TFS & Hugs

Left an earlier comment, but wasn't sure blogger took it, so I'll try again. I saw this cute image when I was getting some Irish & Easter images last evening. This cutie just makes me smile & feel good - that silly look as he's coming out of the teapot is just priceless! Well done with this adorable digi. TFS & Hugs.

Pardon me, Waiter, but there is a fish in my tea. This is a sweet card. I really like the colorful brick bottom panel. Very clever!

Darling card, Carol. Love that brick work and the way you placed the sentiment on the tea pot. Have a good day tomorrow. I hope you didn't get all the snow they predicted for you.
