Spring Color

Today I have a birthday card using some beautiful GinaK orchid cardstock. I just love this color and it's perfect for putting me into a spring mode! The flower is by SU! and was colored with Copics in shades of pink and green. I added a paper doily (a gift from my thoughtful friend Mary Anne) and a Cheery Lynn flourish using GinaK grass green cardstock. I added a matching padded button to the center, along with some randomly placed tiny pink, green, and clear gemstones. The sentiment is a sticker and was small enough to be seen but not overshadow the big bloom!

I'm entering this card into the Mod Squad challenge which is to make a flower your focal point.

Thanks for spending a few minutes of your day with me, and I hope you find some beautiful color in your life too!

Carol

Another stunner from you Carol. Your coloring on this pretty flower is just lovely and I, too, love that orchid card stock. The doily is a fantastic backdrop for this beauty of a flower with it's button center. Have a good day.

This background color is just so rich & deep, and lovely to show off the delicate white doily and your superb coloring on this gorgeous flower. Wonderful touches of green with those flourishes, and you're right...it says "Spring is on the way". TFS & Hugs. (and thanks for that gorgeous St P's card! It's lovely). More hugs
