OWH Mid-Month Throwdown

I was just pondering over what card to share with you today, when I got the email from OWH announcing the February Mid-Month Throwdown. They're asking us to make cards for kids, so here is a quick and easy one I'd already had made. I used a free Dustin Pike pre-colored digi image, and added some alpha stickers for the sentiment. The cardbase is Bazzill textured, with a piece of Recollections chevron dsp, and a strip of black, embossed with a SU! dots ef. I matted with a scrap of gold, and added punched stars with geo sparkler stickers in the centers.

Thanks for checking in today and I wish you a great weekend! They're forecasting snow and ice on the way, but for now the sun is shining brightly and I'm going to soak up as much of it as possible before it turns cloudy!

Carol

This is just precious with that sentiment and the start. Love the faces of both critters. This one worked out perfectly for this challenge. We have the same forecast starting around 1PM and into a bit of tomorrow so , like you, I'm enjoying the sunshine while we have it. Stay safe and warm.

You already had this adorable card made? How fortunate. I love when that happens.
The look on that cat's face is priceless.
Yuck for the snow and ice. We had ice two days this week and that was enough for me. We had a little snow, too...very little. Today, the temp is up to almost 60 and raining, actually coming a flood. This is one of the uglier weekends I've seen in a while. Try to enjoy your weekend.

What a great kids card Carol! I love that mouse and cat!! And of course the sentiment is just perfect. It cracks me up when I hear that said. lol Love the paper's you use, they work so well with the image. Been snowing here since a little after 10 am. Just finished up snowing about an hour ago. The roads are a mess though. Hope we don't get the ice later tonight!! Hope you guys aren't snowed in to bad. Hugs, Brenda
