More Hexes

I love playing with hexagons, so I made another card using those same embossing folders as yesterday's card. I found this fun digital image online (artist unknown), and printed it on a square of white cardstock, doing some piercing around the edges. The lower portion was done with a SU! ef, and all those tiny snippets of cardstock were random bits of black & white dsp I fussy cut and dropped into the embossed sections. I may be crazy, but this technique relaxes me and I love coming up with all the different designs and colors. I added a piece of Lawn Fawn twine and a sentiment from SU! stamp and punches. For someone who's suffered a foot injury or surgical procedure, this should make someone smile :)

I'll share this one with the Simon Says Wednesday challenge to add a little texture.

Thanks for sharing a little part of your day with me today and make it a great Friday!

It certainly will make someone smile. Great find with this image. Love the piercing and your hexagons are lovely as usual. I only wish I had the patience to do this technique that you have mastered so perfectly. Have yourself a warm day, which would mean you will need to stay indoors. We are at 3° with a wind chill of -18° right now and colder tomorrow morning just before the next storm. Carol, I think we should have a contest to see who gets spring first. LOL

I needed that image last year when my cousin was in a accident and had a foot injury. I looked everywhere and couldn't find anything suitable! Love this one! Your card is so cute and yes, I DO love those wonderful hexagons - and the colors. Very cute card!

I like fussy cutting but I'm not so sure bunches of hexes would make me happy. This card certainly does though!!!!

HA....that looks just like me in the boot I've worn so many times....or maybe that's a cast. I've never had a cast, just boots and an external fixator. This card would have been perfect for me many times and I would have loved it. It will give some poor soul a laugh when they receive it.

I'm naming you the 'Queen of Hexagons'. Or, did I already do that? Anyway, they look fabulous.
