From the Herd

Today I'm sharing a get well card I recently made I using SU!'s "From the Herd" image & sentiment, and colored it with Copics. After coloring, I covered the image with Versamark ink and heat-embossed it with clear detail ep. That step makes the colors pop. The buttons are die cut with IO button dies, and woven with narrow strips of matching dsp from Lawn Fawn. The inside says "and hoping you feel better."

I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is "all Creatures Great and Small."

If this image doesn't make you smile, then I don't know what will :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Carol

I love it, Carol. All those eyes peeking in and checking on someone. Just cute as can be. I like your buttons, too.

This herd of well wishes just has to make someone smile and feel better immediately. Cute, cute, cute. We got another 8 inches of snow this morning but now the sun is out and the snow is just blowing around. Tough snow blowing when it is this windy. Wind chill temps tomorrow morning -25°. Not going to leave this house for days. Enjoy the rest of your day.

I love this stamp and glad to see that you have made a cute card with it Carol! I love the way you embossed it with clear embossing powder, it really does make the colors pop! Love that paper and those cute buttons. Yep, I agree, if this image doesn't make you mile nothing will. lol Hope you are staying warm Carol. It was "feel like -20" for us this morning, so you might have been colder. The wind is ferocious, I swear it sounds like it is going to take the house down! Hugs, Brenda

It DID make me smile. I really like the expressions on that goofy goat & the llama's big eye-pop. Brilliant idea to cover the coloring and emboss it. TFS that tip. This one is sure to perk up a puny body, and love the 'buttons' too. TFS & hope you got lots done on the jigsaw puzzle. Hugs
