W is for "Wow, it's Cold!"

Today I have a card for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge - "W is for WOW it's Cold!" I used a SSS Wishing Trees die, cutting with dark green and a lighter green dsp. I added a stitched hillside done with a Lawn Fawn die, and added some sparkly stickles for snow. The lower border was done with a MS punch, and the tiny star is a negative from a SSS star border die. The sentiment is from SU!'s endless wishes and since Christmas is now behind us, you might as well be of good cheer, because who can stop the snow if Mother nature wants to bring it to us?? LOL

Stay warm and thanks for stopping by today!!

Carol

Fun card, Carol. I really like these SSS and Lawn Fawn dies I've seen you use of late. Here you go costing me money again. LOL That lower MS border is very interesting also. Wow it is still very cold here, 12° with a wind chill of -8°. I'm sure you are having the same time of cold in PA. Just stay warm and enjoy the weekend.

You are so right--wow, is it ever cold! Every time I go outside, I feel like my face freezes. :(

But your card does show the more cheerful side of winter. It's so cute! I really love how you used the Stickles to create the effect of drifting snow.

Take care and stay warm!

It's a lovely CAS Carol, your design is fabulous! Love the sparkly snow under the stiched line of the hills and the trees look in 3D great! The tree items in red (line on the top, little star and gorgous border)give a perfect touch of harmony to your card!

WOW is so right for cold weather!!! We're not as cold as you guys, but for us we're freezing to death!
Love the tree die and the way you have it based on the snowy hillside. VERY pretty card!
Stay warm!

Really cute card, Carol. I so agree it's COLD outside! Not going out today though. I woke up with flashing lights in my eyes...followed by a headache...and layed right down again in a dark room,
Scary, considering that I just had my eye surgeries a short time ago...but all is fine now...just keeping my computer time short.

so hubby is out in this cold weather by himself...Keep warm!

I suppose you have a point, Mother Nature's gonna do her thing regardless of our opinion! lol!

Super CAS card, love those trees and the die cut too. yes so cold I don't even want to put my nose out side to see how cold. -11C. or -20F and that isn't figuring in the wind chill. Thanks for playing along with the W is for WOW it's cold challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

We are having a heat wave here in Oregon...40-50 degrees! Usually we are buried under snow this time of year! Love that border punch...so intricate!

Hope Oregon's heat wave makes it to PA. You always make the best cards when you replace the negative spaces. This is so pretty!

Love it! You're getting some fab mileage with this stitched hill die, and it's a wonderful grounding for these trees (they look inlaid, but not sure if they are..but lovely). Liked the red lace as your border trim, which emphasized the bright red star. TFS
