Gratitude

Today I'm sharing a thank-you card I made with SU!'s lovely as a tree. This pretty stamp will never go out of style as far as I'm concerned, and it always makes me feel peaceful somehow when looking at the trees. I stamped them on a snippet of dsp and added another snippet of cardstock for the lower panel with a HA sentiment. I added a few mini star brads and called this one done. I'm entering this card into the Words 2 Scrap By #11 challenge which is gratitude and kindness.

I make lots of thank-you cards for OWH, so I decided to make another one using this simple design and same stamp...

For this one, I went with a different colored lower panel and card base, and used some SU! candi dots instead of brads. I try to make each card I send to OWH a little bit different, plus it enables me to use up more snippets this way!

Speaking of Snippets, I'll be taking these cards over to the Snippets Playground #150 to share with all the wonderful playmates....and Parsnip too :)

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great weekend! I heard the country is in for some seriously cold weather later on next week. I'm so not ready for that yet..........then again.............I'm never ready for bitter cold weather :)

These are two very nice cards each a class act. Love that you stamped on your designer papers. That always adds another beautiful layer to the overall look. Have fun today. I know chili is on the menu and it is the perfect day for it.

You're right Carol...this is a classic stamp! Great design too! We have been spoiled by 70 degree weather here and my flowers started blooming...they are confused and I am happy! Not looking forward to the cold either!

They are gorgeous, super use of the snippets, the dsp makes a perfect background. Hope the cold weather stays away a few weeks more.

For sure, that is a keeper stamp. I love it. Your dsp looks great for the background, too. It looks like a nice snow falling.

My son was just telling me about the cold coming. I haven't been able to even view the weather and not as much news as I like, lately.

Hi, Carol.

I always feel like a broken record when I tell you how lovely your cards are. But, there's no denying the truth. :)

What a lovely image -- quite peaceful, indeed. And, I love how you stamped on dp and accented in black. Such a classic look!

So glad you joined us at Words 2 Scrap By! Thanks for playing along with our November challenge.

This stamp set is as old as the hills... or maybe just the trees. It is a long time favorite for sure.
