3 More Coordinating Cards

I posted a card similar to these yesterday to meet a sketch challenge over at the Outlawz network. As I often do with diagonal cuts, I cut the papers going into the wrong direction, which left me with 2 matching blue pieces and 2 matching green pieces, not the blue & green combo I was going for. What to do? Cut a couple more the correct way so they match appropriately. Oops! I cut them wrong again, so I had to cut yet another time to get it all to work together! lol (slow learner me thinks) I have 3 more cards made now from the same Deedee's Digis pre-colored Snowman Soup digi that i used in the post just below this one. The card above uses the pretty snowflake ornament in the set, and again, I added some Geo sparklers & a blue snowflake sticker in the center for a little extra sparkle. The sentiment is one of 5 included in the digi stamp set.

For this one, I used another blue snowflake sticker on the cup, and added a SU! sentiment panel done with a tab punch in pear pizzazz green. The accenting blue color is Enchanted Evening from PTI.

And here's the 3rd one, pretty much the same layout in reverse, with another sentiment from the Snowman Soup digital stamp set. Sometimes mistakes are good things, because now I have 3 more cards to send out that I wouldn't have if I'd cut the paper correctly the first time ;)

Just another reminder that Deedee's Digis is having a customer appreciation sale with a 50% off store-wide sale! Every single stamp set including her newest releases are 50% off, so be sure to get over there before it ends on December 1st and snag yourself some great digital stamp sets!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate this holiday. Travel safe, and remember to be thankful for all the family, friends, and many blessings in your life!

I like how you made coordinating cards. That marshmallow man better be careful around that hot chocolate. Fun cards my friend, and Happy Thanksgiving! Hugz.

Such fun designs. Love how you split the backgrounds diagonally with the design papers. Sorry for being slack with commenting of late xxx

Beautiful paper, diagonally looks great. I love so much the first card with snowflake ornament, but also the other two are very pretty! The mistake has been a good thing, three cards are much useful than one! :-)

These cards are adorable Carol! I too am a slow learner on the cuts. lol I will cut it wrong each and every time! I eventually get it right, but not before I have a boat load of miss cut paper. lol Hugs, Brenda

I'm always getting the diagonal going the wrong way too. I guess for a sketch challenge people know it is wrong, but for any other reason, who is to know?! Sweet wintery cards!
