So Thankful for You

I'm taking a break from painting to work on some cards today. House painting takes a lot of time, so craft time has been random.

This is for the OWH Sketch challenge #238, and I'm using some pretty dsp I got at Tuesday Morning. The aqua side is the flip side of the polka dot navy. I used 3 different SU! flower punches for the flower, embossing the larger one with white on a snippet of dsp. I embossed the white panel with a CB swiss dots ef to mirror the dotted background, and added a SNSS sentiment done in Navy ink. The horizontal border was done with a SU! punch, and layered with some PTI ribbon, and for the final touch I added some royal blue bling in 2 different sizes from Pizzazz Aplenty.

I'm also sharing this over at the Snippets Playground #147 where I was fortunate enough to win last week - yaaay!!!

That's going to be it for me today, but thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day!

Carol

Congrats on your win at the Playground! You rocked this flower. I kept staring at it and then I realized it was embossed and no openwork. I love that paper!

Oh Yay for your win at the Snippets Playground. I've been MIA for a bit, so didn't see that. This is a pretty card & nice layout. Always love the dots embossing and you've got some lovely papers. Liked the denim look of the stitched ribbon with that scalloped border trims. Ditto on the dimension flower embellie. Happy painting. Better you than me! Happy Sunday & TFS

Fabulous card Carol - and the lovely flower caught me out as well, it really looks so open.

You prize will be posted ASAP honey, we're into the last couple of days work on the en suite and I daren't venture out else the toilet roll holder could end up fixed at ceiling height or something equally crazy!

Hugs

Di xx
